Professional Experience
Summer 2022
L3Harris Technologies
Embedded Software Engineer Intern
Developed software test procedures, software programs, and related documentation. Participated in analysis, design, implementation, integration, and test of embedded software.
Fall 2021
LeNgineer
Software Engineer Intern
Evaluated EEG data in Python and developed an algorithm to maintain accuracy and portability of data.
2021 - 2021
IBM
Technical Solutions Engineer Intern
Participated in the design, build, test of workload migration phases for AIOps-based applications. Presented three live demos for IBM's Watson AIOps software.
Projects
Morse Code Beeper
Developed embedded software to allow for communication across multiple Arduino chips using SPI. Interfaced an LCD screen, wireless transceiver module, EEPROM, and a buzzer to mimic the actions of a beeper.
Intern Evaluation Software
A team of interns and myself tackled the challenge of replacing software used to collect intern evaluation data from their host managers. I evaluated the efficiency of using IBM’s Cloud Pak for Data to sort, filter and display data as needed in real-time.
Simon Says
Wrote a program that interfaced an Arduino which displayed random generated light sequences that the user would have to repeat. If repeated correctly the code would add complexity to the light sequence by making additions to the sequence and displaying it to the user quicker. This could be repeated for any amount of levels desired by the user.
Stimulus Check Calculator
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I wrote the back-end code for a calculator in Python. It determined how much money the user would receive in their stimulus check based on number of dependents and their income.
Wind Turbine Design
A team project to design an effective mechanical, electrical, and aerodynamic wind turbine. My role was to develop an energy cost analysis, maximizing energy production and balancing environmental impacts.
Line Following Robot
I programmed a robot to follow a line drawn by a user. The robot had a chassis with a left and right motor, three sensors that detected the line and an Arduino board. The code was written in MATLAB.
